Longest day of the year

Yesterday was the longest day of the year in the northern hemisphere.
Here in Accrington, the sun rose at 6:36 AM and didn’t go down until 22:32  PM – nearly 16 hours of sunlight.
14,500 made the annual pilgrimage to Stonehenge to celebrate the summer solstice, but we had our own private party in in Accrington, where old friends Carl and Helen, over from Sydney, lunched with Lynne, Harri and me. It was a joyous reunion of old fogies, and possibly the beginning of a couple of arranged marriages between our grandchildren.

Now 70, I'm getting back into website development and brand protection, as well as showcasing the delightful artistic talents of my beautiful wife Lynne. My projection will encompass a lifetime of database marketing, as well as the Christian democratic socialist ideals of my wife and I.
