Blackburn in danger!

Welcome to the relegation struggle, Blackburn.

40+ years ago I queued up overnight to buy a ticket to see my own team, Sheffield Wednesday, beat Blackburn on their way to a FA Cup final. I remember Wednesday reached Wembley in 1966 without once playing at home. A lot of queueing up overnight, with the exception of the final, when it was decided by the authorities that only applicants from a Sheffield post code would get tickets

Much water has flowed under the bridge since then, and Jack Walker was one of the first sugar  daddies to have bought success. Since then other sugar daddies with many more lollies than Jack could manage have taken over the Premier league, adding to star player’s earnings with many millions of pounds (Good? No. Bloody disgraceful).

A few years ago I met Ronnie Clayton, one of the finest wing half’s England has produced, in the hospital ward of his wife, and mine.
Lynne and Ronnie’s wife Valerie were bed neighbours, and got on famously.

Yesterday saw The Wednesday beat Blackburn once more in our road to survival.
Unfortunately for Blackburn Rovers the result sent them into the relegation trio.

Welcome to the real world, Blackburn Rovers.

Now 70, I'm getting back into website development and brand protection, as well as showcasing the delightful artistic talents of my beautiful wife Lynne. My projection will encompass a lifetime of database marketing, as well as the Christian democratic socialist ideals of my wife and I.
