Blasts from my past. You are so…

This blast from my past is understandably  my most meaningful serenade to date, to my wife at our wedding breakfast, as we kicked off a night of celebration.

It was the song popularised by that talented Sheffield man Joe Cocker, of Woodstock fame, and you should click below to see one of his renditions of this great song.

The Woodstock festival was a milestone in my life. Though I first landed at JFK 12 months after it ended its ethos enveloped my being.

“You are so beautiful” is a song composed by Billy Preston, appearing here, who will be remembered for a rooftop set with John, Paul, George and Ringo.
His connection with the Beatles was the reason I booked him to appear at Leeds Polytechnic, along with Badfinger, another Beatles cover player at a “remember the Beatles” evening in the early 1970’s..

Poor Beatles. A four piece band that now has only Paul and Ringo left.

But what a voice Patti Labelle has.
The combination of Joe and Patti is powerful.

Now 70, I'm getting back into website development and brand protection, as well as showcasing the delightful artistic talents of my beautiful wife Lynne. My projection will encompass a lifetime of database marketing, as well as the Christian democratic socialist ideals of my wife and I.
