2016 Olympics

Christ the redeemer, a statue in Rio, created in 1931
The Olympics were originally held in honour of Greek gods. and Rio’s famous statue of Jesus provides a fitting backdrop for the 2016 games.
The art deco statue of Christ the Redeemer was started  in 1896 but not completed till 1931.
It’s seen as a symbol of Christianity in Brazil.
Gods presiding over Olympics Games is nothing new, for 2,000 years ago the Olympics were held in the shadow of Mount Olympus.
Competitors were male, wore next to nothing, and  the Games were a time for people from different parts of the world to come to peacefully celebrate human excellence. Little has changed.

Now 70, I'm getting back into website development and brand protection, as well as showcasing the delightful artistic talents of my beautiful wife Lynne. My projection will encompass a lifetime of database marketing, as well as the Christian democratic socialist ideals of my wife and I.
