Why God does this happen?

Bradley Lowery 2012 – 2017

On July 6, 2017, my first grandson, George was born.
I, as many others, were thrilled, and two day’s later I took a train from Accrington, Lancashire to London’s Euston station to see the lad in hospital.
I was, and still am thrilled at his safe arrival on Planet Earth.
When I later texted my step-daughter with a pic she replied “Wonderful. Perfect”
The reason for today’s blog is that the day after George’s miraculous entry, the little lad in the picture opposite, Bradley Lowery, said goodbye to planet Earth.

Today I texted a tongue in cheek message to family announcing that George would grow up to become simultaneously a Cambridge Blue, a Sheffield Wednesday free scoring centre forward, the Archbishop of Canterbury, and win perhaps a few other accolades, including the world 1500 metres record and winning University Challenge with the answer to the question what is the meaning of life, the universe, and everything.
It’s still 42.

But Bradley is sadly no longer on Planet Earth.
Because on July 7 he was promoted to glory.

As we enter a new football season 2017-18 Bradley will not be at the turnstiles at the Stadium of Light, because he will be at the original Stadium Of Light.

Because 42 isn’t a good enough answer
God bless you Bradley.

Now 70, I'm getting back into website development and brand protection, as well as showcasing the delightful artistic talents of my beautiful wife Lynne. My projection will encompass a lifetime of database marketing, as well as the Christian democratic socialist ideals of my wife and I.
